The LightMy soul has been trapped in darkness,  For it is my shield, my shell, and my knight.  I use it to keep my protected,  In a world full of absence and light.   
My life has been filled with this darkness;  It's surrounded me every single day.  I've waited, in hope I'll escape it,  But I know in my heart there's no way.   
I've given into the darkness through waiting.  Waiting for my life to bring love.  For I know that he is still waiting  In a Future that has still yet to come.   
On this night I sit at my paper,  Writing my hopes and my dreams:  I hope that o The Light

The Devil's SongUpon the ashes she sits,  Silently hearing the Devil's song.  Though the song was cold and sad,  She was happy to sing along.   
Upon the ashes she waits,  Though she knows there's no use;  All of her memories have faded  And she has nothing more to lose...   
And, in the dark, she still holds on;  Wishing her dreams away,  Even though a part of her knows  Nothing will ever be okay.

InvisibleThink of all the people around you... Can you think of anyone who doesn't quite seem to be all there? Someone who is almost invisible, or doesn't seem to register? You know someone, don't you? Every class has one.   
Me... sadly, I am one of those people. The thing is, though, my school is so big that I don't expect anyone to see me. Even the teachers don't; I'm practically a ghost. I don't even know why I keep coming... It's not like they'll see me tomorrow, or the next day, or any day, for that matter.   
Even if they do, it's not like it'll matter.

Is this my first journal entry? If it is, that's a shocker.
Anyways, news update. I know I haven't updated any actual writing in.... forever. But that's due to change... hopefully. Especially with spring break next week. I've been writing alot lately (YAY!) but the trick is typing it up (ugh!). I'm even going to be posting the intro to a... well, so far it looks like it might actually equal a book. If the intro gets moderately good reviews from everywhere I post it, then I expect to actually start posting chapters, which will be easy since it's pretyped.
That's about it for now. I'm tired. Peace.
